Oliver is recognized as one of the nation’s premier practitioners in litigation of Visual Artists’ Rights Act claims, including the landmark Campusano v. Cort case, where she represented muralist Jesus Campusano’s heirs and Elias Rocha against a developer for whitewashing the monumental Lilli Ann Mural in the Mission District. Ms. Oliver obtained a T.R.O., a preliminary injunction, a mandatory injunction, and finally a $200,000 public settlement, which was at that time, the largest VARA claim settlement ever reached.
